Comment: hey guys this collection agency don't have alot of brain power. I have had the best time playing their dirty game. I told them to stop calling, and of course they get off on it. So i call them back on the hour when they pick up i blow a whistle in their ear so loud. That stopped them for a while, then i started calling them back on the spanish line. When they picked up i let a tape recorder play a msg to them. They don't like it so it has slowed down. Two can play at that game. I feel sorry for them, to have such a sucky job. I also thank them for calling me so many times I am flattered. :)

Comment: If this was a person calling this much it would be considered harrassment, is there anything I can do? They call 8-10 times a day 7 days a week.

Comment: This is HSBC. I paid this card off months ago and wondered why they would be calling. I called them back and learned that the card I had an annual fee of $99 that was assessed last month. So while I thought the balance was $0 it was actually $99 plus a late fee of $30 on this $99. If you are getting calls you probably should call them back. You may have a balance you didn't know of (like I did) or your identity could have been stolen. They answer right away when you call back and were very nice and removed all the fees for me so my balance is $0 again and my credit isn't hurt. I agree, the amount of calls were annoying before I cleared this up. One was almost 9pm at night! But it only took me about 10 mins to clear up my account once I called them back.

Comment: I have recieved 4 callas from this number today I answered on the 4th call. they ask for someone named Mary, when I told them no one named Mary was available and this number was on a donot call list the woman became really nasty saying she was just calling to make Mary an offer, I told her this was my number and has been for 4 years and ask her not to call again, and hung up as she was spewing in a loud voice at me I hung up. With in 30 minutes the same number called again I did not answer. How can I stop these calls on my cell phone.

Comment: I have been getting calls from this number repeated on my cell phone. I only answered the first one and it said something like "we have an important message for you but all operators are busy, please stay on the line ...". Of course, I hung up. How can I stop it?

Comment: It is Household bank, Yes! even if you are not late with your payments and even if you don't have a CC with them. First, if you have a card with them and are not late, they want to set up a payment, to help them with the cash flow.( So many people have defaulted) If you are late, I am soooo sorry they will not stop, from early in the morning till late at night and yes on sunday, even very early morning. If you don't have a card, maybe your a neighbor of someone who is late and they are trying to contact them. All of these calls are coming from over seas, when you frist pick up it takes a few minutes for the satelite to connect you so at first it sounds like no one is there, but there is. please note, most of these calls are from this 800 number, but wait, if they never get a peson on line, they will re-route they calls from a local area code in your neighborhood and it will say "Gateway Call" . lets say you live in a 212 area code, the caller ID will say Gateway Call and the numher will be 212-xxx-xxxx so you may think its a friend or other business call but it will be them. Comment: This number has called my house three times in the last two hours. I am not sure what it is and I too hear the same thing "we have an important message" and of course I hang up. The last two calls I have not even answered. I am going to the next site I saw on google and report this number and I may call my local phone company and police department to file complaints too. Maybe if we all start to complain to the right people something can be done to stop the calls. I didn't get on the do nto call list to still get these calls.

Comment: I am a secretary, and we have received numerous phone calls from this phone number on our company's main line. I always hear the same thing "We have an important message...". Normally I hang up, but twice someone popped on the line immediately. I have told them twice today that the person they are calling for can not be reached at this number. Rather aggravating that I have to stop what I'm doing to answer a call like this!
