Comment: Received message on answering machine to call 1-800-580-8615 ext 134, name sounded like Michelle,caller ID showed Syncom 713-460-3114. Was calling someone with the same last name as mine. So I thought I was being thoughtful by calling and telling them had reached wrong number. I asked her what Syncom is, she replied that was irrevelant as she was removing my number from their records. Hope so, but can be sure I won't answer/and or respond to any future calls. Should have checked out the number before being "nice".

Comment: This morning at 8:40 in the morning, which is too early for me and any other normal creditor to call, I received this call from a Daphne Toliver saying she was looking for Ma.... Hi....,which by the way is my husband, yet she failed to call me Mrs Hi.... . It was in regards to a property on "The name of the street I live on". We are currently going through a refinance, and because I had been woken up by this phone call I thought it might be in regards to that. (I don't answer my phone unless I know the # so this information was in a voicemail message and I only leave my first name on the voice-mailbox message). She asked me to have him give her a call back at 1-800-580-8615 ext 121. I promptly came to my computer and looked up the number 713-460-3114 and the number she gave me to call back on. I am glad I did because I would have told my husband to call back otherwise.

Comment: I've been getting calls from this collection agency for over a year. They are looking for John Singleton . . .who has obviously given them the wrong number. I have called them and told them that they have the wrong number, but they keep calling. If it was Singleton's number, do they actually think he would call them back if he owes money??? Gee, I wish they'd get a clue and stop harassing me - someone who has always paid their bills on time !
